My 2024 RDH UOR Experience

Okay it is RDH UOR time! If you're like what is RDH UOR? It is a conference geared towards dental hygienist where you can get up to 20 CE credits. And honestly, it is a wonderful experience. It is awesome. I think every hygienist should do this in their dental hygiene career at least once. I personally love it so much this will be my third RDH UOR conference I am/have gone too.

And as I am thinking about RDH UOR because literally it makes me so excited, if you want to re-light your career and be around like-minded individuals, go. Because yes. You will feel inspired and if you do not. I am truly sorry, because I cannot relate on that. And personally, I am curious now, are there any hygienist who have been to RDH UOR and not been inspired? Like legit you did not like the event at all? I'm now genuinely curious because every time I have gone it has been a wonderful experience and I feel it makes my dental hygiene career even better. And also, you get so many new goodies! You get to network. They have yoga in the morning! You meet new people, you see familiar faces, everyone (for the most part) is kind, and they want to be there. It's not like your sorry job that no one wants to be at and is waiting for the clock to strike the end of the day to leave. Just think of a conference with nothing but dental hygienist and all their peppy, bright and fun energy. Like it'll make you sick it is so great. LOL. You know what I mean! It's just great and if you don't believe me try it for yourself. And if you do try, let me know so I can send the link to yah! lol.

But anyways, I started LOLing to myself at work today when I started thinking about my 2024 RDH UOR conference experience because it dawned on me. I remember I got these lemon breath mints from one of the venders, and I remember I put one in my mouth and the hygienist next me asked me a question about them and I said, "do you want one?" and I remember she said "YEAH!" Like all eager and excited and I remember telling her where she could find them at on the exhibit floor. And like LOL I was laughing because I was like did, I end up giving her a mint? I cannot remember, knowing me I probably also did give her one, but I just remember telling her first like oh you want one? Well, you can find them here... LOL not even thinking at first that she might have been thinking that I was actually going to give her a mint LOL. Yall, also the conference is long, in a good way, so by the last day, your brain is burnt a little bit after all the energy and education you had just learned. LOL. I really do hope I gave her one, but my brain isn't remembering completely, I may have given her a mint but not the whole case. LOL. God bless; I don't know why that hit me today and why I thought it was so funny. Maybe I was getting tired today too! LOL. Also, to the hygienist I do hope I gave you one, if I didn't, I will this year LOL.

Well anyways, that's what came to me today.

Maybe tomorrow I will talk about my 2021 RDH UOR conference and how I got invited to go and literally went like two weeks before the event.
